My story
My illustrations are inspired by the gentle, ever-changing landscape of the British countryside and the familiarity of a traditional country home.
Growing up on a farm with my three siblings was a gift for creativity.
I am fortunate enough to live in a small Northamptonshire village, nestled between rolling hills, rivers and working farms. Some of the characters I meet in the village make their way into my illustrations, including the resident Shetland ponies and donkey.
The daily rhythm of a busy, rural life etched into my heart, the scenes, often shaped by the seasons, which I call on time and time again in my artwork. My love of animals was forged early and the familiar presence of a dog at my feet, a cat on the windowsill or watching lambs in the fields, are to me, incredibly comforting.
